Non Ferrous Metals
A listing of the most common types of non-ferrous metals in the Aluminum category include but are not limited to 2024, 6061, 7075, however we have experience in the 1000-7000 Series of Aluminum. By far the most common is 7075, which is typically hard anodized coated.
Examples of the most common place Copper Alloy utilized at CMG includes CDA954 Aluminum Bronze, 660 Bronze, and brass. The copper alloys tend to be used in the manufacture of worm gears or worm wheels. They are also used in some of our smaller metering gears.
